Reality: app share links are often short redirects without the item number. Open them in a browser and copy the final address.
"The converter can work out the item."
Reality: it never guesses. It only builds OopBuy's own format from a recognised Weidian, Taobao, Tmall or 1688 product URL; otherwise it says "Unsupported".
"If it's on this site, it's still for sale."
Reality: listings change between our catalog refreshes. If OopBuy cannot open an item, use Alternatives or browse best finds.

If OopBuy shows an empty page
Refresh after a moment; if it persists, send the original marketplace URL to OopBuy support.
"Copying from a chat preview is the same as copying the link."
Reality: chat apps sometimes shorten or reformat links in their previews. Open the link, let the product page load fully, then copy the address from the browser bar. That one habit fixes most cases where the converter reports a problem, and it takes only a few seconds.
"A link from a spreadsheet is always a product link."
Reality: spreadsheet cells sometimes point to an image, an album or a redirect page. The converter needs the marketplace product page itself: a Weidian address with itemID, a Taobao or Tmall address with id, or a 1688 /offer/number.html address.
"Mobile and desktop addresses are interchangeable."
Reality: often they are, but not always. If the converter cannot read a mobile address, open the same product on a computer and copy the address from there.
"Editing the item number by hand is fine."
Reality: one wrong digit opens a different product, or none. Copy the complete address instead of typing parts of it.
"A link that worked once will always work."
Reality: sellers remove and edit listings. Keep your own list of working links with dates. If an old link fails, check the marketplace page first; OopBuy cannot buy something that is no longer listed. Then try Alternatives on our product page or browse best finds.
